The singer from the Cult Maniax sent me up a copy of a Cult Maniax video, must have been well over 10 years ago. It's from the early 80's and it's bloody excellent to say the least! Some of that footage is on youtube I just noticed ;-0
Wish I had seen this lot play back in the day, fuckin love em!

I've been looking for that vid, someone posted it on Punk Torrents but it was for donors only and what with me being a tight get I never got it......now the site has gone AWOL. We were on holiday last year in the Devon area so I took the missus and kids to Great Torrington for the day out.....I found the Black Horse and told them the tale of Cult Maniax and the landlord.....i'm sure they were all fascinated but they managed to hide it well ;D. I would've dragged them all in to the pub but it looked shut and besides I was worried in case the landlord suffered flashbacks  . Anyway I still haven't given up hope of catching the Cult Maniax live some day I have heard they do occasionally reform for the odd gig. |

Tez stayed at our flat when the Instigators played Scotland, i'll tell the story of that gig another time.....there was a riot in the middle of it! She told us she was gonna show the photos to her daughter of us good looking Scottish guys. So we let her take some pics, meanwhile we're all thinking 'yeah we are good looking guys arent we'. It wasn't till later the penny dropped and we realised she was just feeding us a line and that we were in reality a bunch of ugly bastards and she just wanted the pics so her and her daughter could have a laugh about the freaks she had encountered on her travels in Scotland.  |

Ahh yes. I saw the same video in a movie jorge casualty put out called "a way of life." Quite decent movie, lots of live gigs of uk bands from late 70s all the way up to suicidal supermarket trolleys.
