Well I had slowed down between jobs but I'm back at full steam now. I'd hoped to be adding the 1st 7" by Charge "You Get What You Deserve" to the records I have acquired recently but even at 92 gbp I still got outbid. That record keeps eluding me. My last buys were:
-MIA "Murder in a Foreign Place" LP
-Another Pretty Face "Goodbye 1970s" 7" (lousy a-side but the b-side is pretty good power-pop punk)
-Adverts "Gary Gilmore's Eyes" 7" (that weird 80's press with the different b-side songs and yellow band shot sleeve)
-Youth Brigade "What Price Happiness" 7"
-extra copies of the Nosebleeds 7" and the Users "Sick of You" 7"
-A bunch of Ebay crap I'm waiting on: Carpettes "Fight Amongst Yourselves" LP, The Smith "Here Comes My Baby" 7", Dirty Dog "Let Go of my Hand" 7", "Durham Book Centre" comp LP w/ Red Alert, Toy Dolls, the Crime, etc., Circles "Opening Up" 7", Mirrors "Cure for Cancer" 7", Lightning Raiders "Criminal World" 7" test press, Victim "Why are fire engines red?" 7" (but anybody got an extra sleeve for this one?)
Incidentally if anyone gets the chance, catch Agent Orange on tour. They are only on a short 2-week tour, but their Baltimore show was the best I've seen them, they did some great covers by Weirdos and DK's and sounded true to their early 80's prime.
