There is absolutely no need to scan anything on No Future. It can be directly lifted from my website. Likewise, Henk has every Exploited record ever made (and probably some that weren't  ) so no need for those either. |

well , i actually still need a bunch  like the totally exploited LP without the red stains of the front cover, which seem to be more common than the one i have and i need more testpressings, hehe |

I had a look at the new site you are making and I think it's gonna look great!
Two things that are on my mind at the moment are...
Weren't Crucifix a a band from San Fransico? Also are you gonna give the band The Genocides a mention as they released two great 7" uk82 releases?

Hey Jim, c'mon and join us ... the more the merrier. It's a bit tough at the moment cos we need Stu to put something on the site so that we can see what he doesn't have.
At the moment, I'm scanning 12" covers and the rest of the clan are scanning their 7"ers. If you can add to it, please do.

What is the best way to find out what has already been done as I don't want to be scanning stuff thats been done already. Also what size do I need to have them scanned in at? What format do they get saved as? Who do I send them too? Also are foriegn sleeves beeing added for UK releases (ie Adicts / Blitz Spanish pressings). Is it worth mentioning/scanning test pressings of what we have between us all? Sorry if I seem a bit lost on all this but that's just the way I am at the best of times! I will try and add some some stuff soon. Xmas has me all in a panic right now! And I'm off to WASTED this coming Sunday, is anybody going there?? |

Hi Jim! I'm pretty lost too at knowing what's scanned or not, the stuff i've mentioned in the lists here iswhat i HAVE, most of it IS scanned in a pretty small format ( which in my opinion is enough for information. ) the rest are scanable within 10 minutes (if not shown on the URL i added to the ABC... topics) the stuff i've added are only 7"es cause my girlfriends damn HP scanner takes 40 years or so to get all the stuff on the scans to look as the actual cover... i might get a new one later and add a list for the 12"es later remember this is not any site for people downloading shit to get scans to write covers for their CDRs, its an info site - if the scans are tto large, the site storing limit will be full when getting halfway or so... IF anyone want us to make a mirror site (the same site, looking the same / except for te storage of the pics...) i can make one if i get the full scripts used at www.punkdiscography.com , cause otherwise it wouldnt look the way it does on the mainsite... i also have a pretty large emailaccount at the moment so i could recieve about 1500% more before i get kicked out from it cause having a too large storage on it... personally i like an incomplete site like 'killed from the heart' more than a site that looks like its dead. so, if 'til the main opening day - i might do a shitty 'wanna-be-site' which all the scans and info are stored at, and Stu can simply transfer the shit from it (in one out of 1000000's ways) and then make the nicer looking/better site? anyone's opinion? |

Okay, let me try to clarify what I'm trying to do here so that we don't duplicate each other's efforts. I am scanning ALL 12"/LPs owned by myself and Ash. You cannot scan these properly with an ordinary scanner, but I have some image stitching software to join all the bits together to get a full LP cover scan. This is my list of stuff, but does not include Ash's: www.lthenstridge.freeserve.co.uk/uk82/records.htmAs for the 7"ers, use this thread to list what you have already scanned or what you WILL scan. If it's not in this thread, then it needs to be scanned. If it is ... don't bother, it's been done. Don't worry about the condition of the covers. Once they are up on the website, you can see if you have a better copy and give Stu a better scan. On the 12"/LP front, I have some detailed instructions on how to do it ... but you would need to send me the scans (4 per LP). I have some work to do to simplify these instructions, or at least to find a way of getting more on a CD. I will not want them via email. As for non-UK pressings, I reckon we should leave those for the moment and concentrate on getting the standard UK pressings done. Others can be added later. Scan sizes should be 180x180 pixels in size and in jpg format. I hope that clarifies the situation ... well, as I see it, anyway. |

Genocides will be added in my opinion. Not sure about Ovaltinees and Indecent Exposure.
