Heavier than their first album, but the vocals are very distinctive (so if you never knew which one was Bev, you will now). Well produced, and Bev does have a good voice.
The Lost Cherrees were never in the Discharge/Blitz/GBH/Conflict mould, and this album is a good continuation from their previous releases with statements to make without screaming about it (although Bev does bellow out "Wake The Fuck Up!" on the first track which I thought was a little rude for a young(ish!) lady - ha! ha!.
Overall, there are 54 minutes (17 tracks) of very good Anarcho punk, good vocals, good backing and good tunes. If you likes the Cherrees earlier stuff, especially their Unwanted Children 12", you'll like this. If you hated their stuff, you probably won't like it. If you felt they were "okay", then it's worth getting this album to see what you think this time.
Personally, I like it a lot. Is it better than their first album? ... hmmm... the jury is still out on that one.
