Hey Jim. Sorry I never got back to you  I've played the first three tracks and it's good ... very good, only the video/sound is about 1 second out of sync. That reminds me, I've got to check if that's an issue with my DVD recorder. |

I have to say that it is something I never noticed about it, it looked well alright to me. I've played it around 5 times over the last two weeks and it has got me right back into them! Hey did I mention that I got my orig suspect device 7" autographed by Jake Burns? It just might have added a few £££ on it there  |

You'd have noticed it if the lip sync was out. I've had a look at some websites, so I'll try powering the thing off later.
So when did you get Jake to sign it? Did it raise a conversation point? The signature that I REALLY want on mine is Brian Faloon's. I've got my Nobody's Heroes LP signed by the band.

I went to quite a large record fair in Glasgow sometime over the last two/three years and I had heard that Jake was going to be there (something to do with the launch of his book). I took along two sleeves for Suspect Device the other being the second press on rigid dijits with the machine made sleeve still withought the rough trade logo.
When I first saw him there he was surrounded by quite a few people who were wanting photos etc so I wasn't going to bother. A bit later on he was on his own so I nipped over. He seemed quite surprised that I had the first pressing and checked the inside of the sleeve to see if it was the one with the chip shop order hand written inside which had been glued up and sold with the rest back in the day. It isn't
I never did buy his new book but I did get two signed sleeves though...... ;D
