my computer seem to be fried. it held about 10.000 uk82 music files which was all checked through and 100% OK (top volume, best versions, hard to get files, impossible lost demos etc etc etc...)

and the worst thing is I can't connect to soulseek with this old PC cause it have too less memory. so I can't check if I can restore some of the damage before they disappear again. I've found out that a few still float around some blogs on the internet, but it is like a piss in the ocean...


FUCK! why does all this shit always happen to me?! I've tried to ressurrect it for 3 months now with no damn sign of life.

It was a computer i paid £2000 for so it feels like it would be fucking fun blowing something up (s e r i o u s l y) at the moment...

Apart from that, you're okay Henk?

Might be worth you getting a new hard disk, reinstalling Windows and everything else you need on the new disk then trying to salvage what you can from the old disk - maybe by a professional.

A disk will cost you a few quid/bucks/krona/whatever, but may save you a lot of time, effort and stress.
