Can anyone give me any advice on a good digital camera,I need one that has good battery life,and at least 3m pixels,and it needs to be a £100 or less,and idiot proof,my head hurts from too much google!

The cam I have ran my entire 2 week trip in hawaii and then some on the same 2 batteries.
