Okay guys, there are loads of them on eBay in all sorts of colours and with a variety of different covers (some without covers).
It's time I got myself a copy, but would really like an original press.
How do I tell what is an original? I know the coloured pressings are reissues, but what did the original cover look like (if it had one). Do they come with different labels?

Not bad ... not bad at all!

Wow Lyndon, I'm sorry - if I visited the forum even ocasionally, then I might have been able to answer this for you.
I've my copy for over 20 years (bought it after NMTB so can't claim to have been there at the begining).
Plain white card sleeve, on the "blank records" label (drawing of a gun) - I assume that it's a reasonably "authentic" copy, due to it's age.
Good record, and better songs than some of the final versions.
Might aswell stick with the cd (I've got one too) as it's almost impossible to prove the providence of these things.
