The Fiend

The Fiend are back together and playing some gigs. I'm hoping to see them in Edinburgh in June as they are playing at a new punk venue there called the 3 Tuns. Good news also is they have a complete Demos Vinyl LP release out now which I will have 10 copies of very soon....

For those of you who do not rememeber them they released a great 7" on Endangered Records around 1986, I think it was the 1st release on the label? They also had a great track on the "We Wont Be Your Fucking Pooor" Mortarhate double compilation lp

The Fiend also put out another 2nd 7" somewhat later, but of early recordings, called "Prediction e.p.", nice looking full color sleeve, I have it but forget what label it was on (not Endangered Musik, I know). It was some sort of a benefit release for one of the members who had cancer. I had never heard of it until I found a copy for $4 in NYC a couple years back. Musically it's good stuff and worth picking up.

Staff from Tardis records in Bristol put out a full album of old demo's and the EP etc about a year ago, well worth picking up, fucking great band, and killer to see them back in action
