I just got back from this gig in London last night. Loads of people there and I had a great time! I thought the Avengers were AWESOME. They sang everything I wanted to hear.
I found out the hard way that at almost 37 I should not be trying to invade the stage no matter how pissed I am. I got launched over the barrier at the front and for a split second I felt like Buzz Lightyear then I landed with a thud and have almost done my back in! FUUUUUUUCKIN OUCH!!!!!!
Josh is still alive and well bumped into him down there.

Don't you just hate it when you try crowd surfing ... leap off the stage and then see everybody parting leaving a 10 foot vertical gap between you and a hard, beer-covered floor.

Anyway, the gig was great, Avengers were fantastic and also Chelsea were fucking brillant too! I missed the Damned but who cares...
Oh well, Josh was there as well? I didn't see anyone of you... shit!

I wish I could have seen the Avengers at least...Had plans to visit Stu Decay in Sheffield but it was impossible to get there in time with no day-off at work and the missus on the dole. Fuckin' hell. It would have been great to meet you all there...Shit shit shit. Oh Sorry about your back Jim. Fortunately you didn't try to jump off the monitors ! ;D
Oh, a mate from our town was at the Wasted X-mas fest in London too. Didn't see him since but I think he had a great time.
I talked to Josh and he's doing ok, I hope he will post again here.

Hey Jim,
I could afford a ticket + plane, but the real NO was from job. I have good vacation time but no choice about WHEN - I can't get away and work more later. Otherwise I would have saved money and been there - both Sheffield and London gigs.
I hope there will be more opportunities to meet you bunch of old obsessive beer soaked vinyl freaks ;D
