You may or may not have heard of these, but they are worth a look. The Darwin Awards honour those who improve our gene pool ... by removing themselves from it. Of necessity, this honour is (generally) bestowed posthumously. Basically, they list the events leading up to somebody killing themselves by doing something VERY stupid.
Most are American ... so read into that what you will
