hELLO to all. Does anyone know what year this redskins bootleg album was released and which country it originates from? Apparently there's various coloured wax too.

HI Lenin, F/cover : white, with a guy & a red flag behind a factory (same as an UB40 LP !), redskins logo & "rarities" in gold. B/cover : pic of the band (1st line up) Lyrics : Unionize / Reds Strike the Blues / Kick Over the Statues/ The Peasant Army / Lev Bronstein / Lean On Me / Keep On Keeping On / 16 Tons / Young and Proud /Take No Heroes / Turnin' Loose (live) No insert but I've got a violet wax press, If I can remember there's a black wax too. Not sure but seems to me a North American or Canadian Press  If you had more info about it... Cheers, L. |

Hi, still looking for my copy, but can't find the fcuker anywhere!
I'm certain I bought mine around '86, I think in black wax.
However, the problem with bootlegs is that they are continuously repressed and therefore difficult to date.
When I tried to mention the Redskins on RB&AF (V1), I was told they weren't punk, therefore not suitable for inclusion on punk lists.
(A few snotty purist tossers had this attitude, but things are much more relaxed under Lyndon ;D)

Off to Wembley tomorrow for a potentially miserable day ... but hoping that it will be a fcuking good one!!!! And just to put the record straight, you have NEVER been "under Lyndon", who would be less than content in that situation ;D |
