Yep and Istill think both musical genres and culture can mix to a certain point.

Same reply as Anticimex. Quite disgusted by the prices of old pama labels & sublabels stuff. It's the only time I like CD in order to hear some old tunes. Or have die-hards fans of reggae to burn something. I've seen one the Aethiopians in Paris, 3-5 five years ago and I had to say it was really great !!

Sektarisk,i know what you mean about pama etc-they haven't been cheap though for years, whats surprising is people pay lots of money for records that are good or worse condition.anyhow this blog has loads of pama/trojan/roots if you dig through it youandmeonajamboree.blogspot.com/

Thanx a lot for that link . There's some "good" various modern repress too. The worst I've seen is the original Sir Collins - Black Panther single on Duke rised up to more than1000 quids . You can get the same cheaper on Dancehall 69 (even there's a click at the end) cd or Trojan single boxset

Boss Reggae on Pama - eco is one of my fav v/a. I've got zipped files of "Bullets hits"; "Birth control"; "a gift from pama" & perhaps "scandal in a brixton market" but I had to dig in my chaotic computer.
