Okay, there was me out last night for a pool match wearing my ANWL T-Shirt, and one of the opponents comes over an tells me he's still got "their record" ... as if they only released ONE ;D
He swears blind that he's got a green vinyl copy of 'Woman' with the offensive lyrics. I told him that the offensive version was on the album only and the 7" was radio friendly (I actually heard it played on the radio at the time of release). Also, that I'd never seen a green vinyl copy of the record, but there was a picture disc. No, he insists it was original and bought at the time of release (about 1983).
We had a bit of a discussion and I asked him to check it out when he gets home and let me know when I see him again next year.
Has anybody ever come across a green vinyl version of this record?

I hate it when people say shit like that, "oh I have thier record.." only to complicate matter by coming up with something you don't know. Any chance of seeing him again?

Yes. Now let me repeat myself from above ... "We had a bit of a discussion and I asked him to check it out when he gets home and let me know when I see him again next year." The 4th March to be precise.

I remember getting misinformation from a "Punk Lives" magazine that had me running around for years with a fictional record on my wants list. I've still got that same issue in which they praise the "couple of singles" Red Alert put out on the Guardian label before signing on with NF (and no, not the National Front haha). Damn that had me hunting high and low, much like the 1st Gonads 7" mystery and that Porno Cassettes 7" I'll have to ask god about in the afterlife.
